  3. Author Talk: Susan Conley

    Susan Conley will be reading from and discussing her new novel Elsey Come Home, which was published by Knopf Random House in January of 2019. Susan will also talk about the process of writing and publishing a book. Elsey Come Home is set in both Beijing, China and in Maine, and Susan will discuss the influence of place on her writing. Conley is the co-founder of The Telling Room, a nonprofit creative writing center in Portland, Maine. She teaches on the faculty of the University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast Writing Program.
