Community Programs & Special Events

MRPA Discount Tickets

• Discounted admission tickets to local attractions are available for purchase through our office, courtesy of the Maine Recreation and Park Association. 
• Past tickets have included Funtown Splashtown, York's Wild Animal Kingdom, and Aquaboggan.

Seasonal Photo Contests

• We regularly hold photo contests to celebrate the different seasons here in Maine!
• Photo entry categories typically include Family, Nature, Pets, and Youth Photographer.

Shawnee Peak Ski Programs

• Discounted opportunities to ski and ride at Shawnee Peak. Typically available for purchase during the month of November.
• Past ski programs have included discounted Night Season Passes, Windham Ski Days with discounted single-day tickets, and season-long programs with lessons and lift tickets on a designated weekday.

Snowshoe Loan Program

• Windham Parks and Recreation has men's, women's, and youth sizes of snowshoes that are free to borrow for the day or for a weekend.
• Snowshoes must be borrowed in-person; calling ahead is recommended to insure we have your size.

Cross Insurance Arena Discount Tickets

• Purchase discounted tickets for select special events at Cross Insurance Arena through our office!
• Past tickets have included Disney on Ice, Monster Trucks, and the circus.
